Waxy surfaces

Oh, I appear to have candle wax (splattered) all over my duvet after putting candles on the shelf above my bed, and forgetting about them while they merrily burned down more than I'd intended... It's interesting the pattern it leaves when dropping from 3 feet up...

Anyone got a hair dryer or something to get it out with?

You need an iron and some brown paper, really...

Or a freezer...

Well, our freezer is almost empty... if it had happened a couple of days ago it would have been fine. It's shopping day today though, so there'll probably be no space before too long.

Only need to leave it a few minutes - wax shrinks more than cotton so it should crack.

Good luck anyway!

Warmed to soften (not liquify) then frozen will crack it off.
Depending on how liquid it was to start will affect whether it will ever come off. For these purposes I have a limited number of outfits when I'm, erm, using candles.
